VFPrep works without an account. Your recordings are never uploaded to VFPrep's server. Match records and notes stay inside your browser too. The only exceptions are listed under "Sent encrypted" and "Sent as is" below.
Processed and saved in your browser
Videos you load into Replay Scope or Match Record are analyzed inside your browser. They are never uploaded to VFPrep's server.
VFPrep reads only the folder you pick in the browser's dialog. Source recordings are deleted only when you press Delete on the confirmation screen (they do not go to the recycle bin). The folder's contents and file names are never sent to the server.
These are kept in your browser's storage. Clearing the site data in your browser removes them too, so save important notes with the backup feature in Strategy Notes.
The server cannot read the contents
Strategy Notes and match records sync only after you pair devices with a QR code or pairing code. Data is encrypted on your device before it is sent, and only your paired devices hold the key. The server keeps the encrypted data only.

When you create a share ID, that note is stored on the server temporarily. It is deleted after 10 minutes, or as soon as it is received once.
To improve the site, Google Analytics and Cloudflare count which screens and features are used, how long they are used, and whether errors occur. Note text, entered content and videos are not included.
The site is served by Cloudflare, which handles access information like any website host. Fonts load from Google Fonts and embedded videos from YouTube.
Replay Scope exports selected matches to an MP4 saved on your computer. You upload it in YouTube Studio and register the video URL. The URL is encrypted and synchronized with recordings, matches and notes. Playback opens the scene on YouTube. VFPrep does not obtain or store Google credentials.
If devices are paired, video links, recording information, analysis, notes and stills are synchronized in encrypted form. Original videos and upload MP4s are not synchronized.
